​Admiral Snake Fu Bai was an intelligent and cunning tactician and general for the Shilon Empire, as well as one of the Three Great Heroes of Shilon along with Emperor Dragon Ren and Admiral Ox Lao Shen who protected the kingdom's land for over five hundred years. To fables and the people's eye, Fu Bai was considered the least seen and prominent of the three. Sheltering his pride for himself and his duties unnoticed, as he intended. While he possessed the charm and ability to communicate efficiently with his peers, he failed to find the trust and connections to all but a few. He spent his days isolated, evolving in his seclusion while observing the world around him.

 

Despite his mysterious and seemingly cold and selfish nature, his heart never once questioned his love for the kingdom, the people, and his two siblings. Even if it didn't look like it.

 

During his services for Shilon and journeys with Lao and Ren, he served a logical benefit for the trio and often approached any troubles the three got in with tactical and cunning solutions. In 2603 RH, during one of their adventures to obtain a stolen magic hairpin that belonged to the wife of Emperor Horse Malong. Lao and Ren were swallowed whole by a massive catfish yaoguai but were regurgitated hours later when Fu Bai tricked the yaoguai into swallowing his own whiskers.

 

As the centuries went on during Emperor Ren's dynasty his presence with his fellow demigods became more and more infrequent and instead favored his time to his own. Such as traveling the world and learning more about the cultures beyond Shilon. Before his title as Admiral was about to become obsolete, he returned in the wake of Yamamura with his legion of trusted followers to pursue vengeance against the demons who took the life of former Emperor Malong.

 

After turning the yaoguai forces from Shao Jin back into Surochi it was then the divine power of Shilon approached its wit's end, for they could not seal Under-Grey Cave, the path the enemy took through in the destroyed temple of Suzaku. Locked in a stalemate, Fu Bai traveled north to commission a banished carpenter from the celestial court to create a door strong enough to hold the strength of a thousand yaoguais. The carpenter advised that a door that strong would require two sets of doors; a small chamber with two entryways on each side.

 

While Emperor Ren and the White Horns held the yaoguai forces from the right, and Ox Admiral Lao and the rest of the legions of Shilon on the left, Fu Bai led his followers deep into the cave the enemy's crawled from and blocked it off with the carpenter's door. But the door could only be sealed from within, not from without. In a last effort, Fu Bai ordered his brigade to leave Under-Grey Cave and seal it shut with him behind. After seeing the sun's light one last time, Fu Bai used his twin fangs to immobilize himself between the two sides of the door, forming a sarcophagus for himself that would sit in between the two realms of Kudao and Kindao.

 

The remaining yaogaui, upon realizing that they've been tricked, immediately scattered to flee and those too sluggish were slaughtered by Ren and Lao's surviving battalion. And for the first time in what seemed like a lifetime, the earth was quiet.

 

Despite the knowing of his consciousness, The entombment of Fu Bai was considered a death among the Shilon people. "It would be terrible if Admiral Snake knew what would become of the kingdoms today." The young Han Yu said upon heeding this tale. "He knows," said Empress Lao in sorrow. "Why's that? Can he see all?"

 

"We sealed away brother Fu Bai's body and mind, But not his shadow."

 

"Do you think he's angry with us?"

 

"I... I don't know."
