“I bind myself to these weights so this land won't have to.”
-Jing Lee
Biography
Jing Lee, Demigoddess of the Goat, is a resurrected spiritual deity who swore an oath to protect the Jadeheart, a fragile artifact that requires the power that of a god to protect. If broken, the veil between Kudao and Kindao will be shattered, leaving the mortal realm of Kudao exposed to the hellish tyranny of Kindao indefinitely. The Jadeheart has already lost a small fragment long ago before being in Jing Lee's hands, which has caused an entire acre in the south to vulnerable to Kindao's hunger.
Before becoming the ascendant being she is now, she was one of the 12 Zodiacs of Shilon as well as Shilon's Empress thousands of years ago. She was selfless, gentle, and a determined warrior. Jing Lee, showing great dedication towards her kingdom, cared deeply for the soil she walked on, the trees she climbed, and the rivers she swam in. Before her dynasty, Shilon's forests suffered from heavy deforestation, under Jing Lee's rule, she spent the next few hundred years dedicating herself as empress to revive it. She planted, grew, and tended to over three billion blossom trees scattered across the Shilon Kingdom. These trees still flourish to this day and stand as an important remnant to Shilon culture.
At the peak of her successful empire, her land was met with an unexpecting threat. The former keeper of the Jade heart has been slain, and the mortal realm has been exposed to the dark side of the moon once more. The Jade heart called to Jing Lee. To take precautions, the empress volunteered to step down from her throne, leaving her younger brother, Hushin, to take the throne.
Upon reaching the Jade heart, Jing Lee's body was forfeit, but her spirit remained as she ascended into a divine being like non other. She grasped the artifact between her hands, and took flight in her apparation form, leaving her physical form behind forever.
Ever since, Jing Lee has wondered between realms of spirit and physcial. Farmers and travelers will rarely spot this graceful and gentle spirit, But as delicate as she is, she is very well defensively. Anyone who attempts to attack and snatch the power she wields for themselves will soon find their decisions to be regretful.
