Biography
Kasamatsu is a cold, quiet, calculating shinobi who was one of the original seven Smoking Serpents and still works for them today. Originally served as an assassin for the Red Crow ministry, she was sent to aid former Seigun samurai, Ryusuke in his work for collecting rare and selling artifacts. Up until his decease during the raid of Yokomura, where she began to serve Lady Angylyn from then on. She also works as a sashimi chef at a local Crying Carp which serves as a pretense for the Smoking Serpent's hidden quarters.
Despite her loyalty, she is often described by others in the gang as stone-faced and cold-hearted. Like all shinobi of the Red Crow, she is trained to have no dreams, no opinions, no regrets, no sense of humor, or even pride. She is an incredible actress and skilled in the ways of manipulation, she understands emotions and how to replicate them, but she doesn't feel them. To blur her identity to the public, she's made a very convincing facade as a friendly humble kitchen worker while the doors of the Crying Carp are open.
To question her loyalty would be reasonable considering who she is. However, her connections to the Red Crow linger every day she spends with the Smoking Serpents and their quirky and colorful characters. Perhaps there is a quiet heart to be found in the young shinobi.
